Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system, is seeking a dedicated RN-Otolaryngology Nurse to join our pioneering team in the Otolaryngology department. This role is crucial in providing specialized nursing care for patients with ear, nose, throat, and related conditions, encompassing both medical and surgical aspects. The successful candidate will work closely with ENT specialists to deliver patient care, manage treatment plans, and support patient recovery, ensuring the highest standards of healthcare in our state-of-the-art facilities. Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with ENT conditions, following established protocols. Assist in surgical procedures and manage pre-operative and post-operative care. Coordinate with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on condition management, treatment specifics, and preventative measures. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed. Manage patient documentation and maintain accurate health records. Expertise in clinical skills specific to otolaryngology Ability to assist in surgical environments Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in using medical software for patient care management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS/CPR certification Preferred: Specialized certification in otolaryngology nursing (e.g., CORLN)
