Job Description:
Albany Medical Center seeks a dedicated and passionate
RN-Education Specialist to join our Clinical Center for Learning
and Development. This role is crucial in enhancing our nursing
staff's educational development and ensuring the highest standards
of patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will design,
implement, and evaluate educational programs and training tailored
to meet the needs of clinical staff across our healthcare system.
This position provides a unique opportunity to interact with
clinical professionals at all levels, influence patient outcomes
positively, and uphold our commitment to excellence in medical
education and patient care. Develop and implement clinical
educational programs aligned with the latest medical research and
techniques. Evaluate the efficacy of training modules and modify
based on feedback and outcomes. Conduct ongoing assessments to
ensure compliance with national standards and hospital policies.
Collaborate with nursing leaders and other healthcare professionals
to identify and resolve educational gaps. Oversee the documentation
and certification processes for educational activities. Provide
mentorship and guidance to staff to promote professional
development. Stay updated with advancements in medical education
and healthcare to continually enhance curriculum and teaching
methods. Proven ability to design and lead educational and training
programs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Expertise in
clinical protocols and healthcare delivery systems Ability to
assess training needs and implement effective solutions Proficiency
in data management and analysis to evaluate program effectiveness
