Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Clinical Nurse III for our Adult Emergency Department. This vital

nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department setting.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration
with the interdisciplinary health care team. Actively participate
in the analysis of emergency cases and suggest improvements to
protocols and procedures. Support patient safety and quality of
care by adhering to established policies, standards of care, and
regulatory requirements. Mentor and guide junior nurses and other
healthcare staff to promote professional growth and maintain high
standards. Administer medications and treatments promptly and
according to established best practices. Document all patient care
actions and patient responses, maintaining accurate and complete
medical records. Advanced clinical skills in a high-intensity
healthcare setting. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in stressful situations and manage time
effectively. Expertise in emergency response and urgent care
procedures. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR)
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New
York. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
certification recommended.
