Job Description:
As part of Albany Medical Center's commitment to excellence in

Clinical Nurse III to join our dynamic team in the Colorectal
Surgery and Urology unit. This role is crucial in our mission to

surgical advancements. Provide comprehensive nursing care to
patients in the Colorectal Surgery and Urology department,
including preoperative and postoperative care. Collaborate with an
interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient
treatment plans. Contribute to medical and nursing research and
apply new knowledge to clinical practice. Mentor junior nurses and
participate in the education of nursing students. Maintain accurate
patient records and documentation in line with departmental
protocols and legal requirements. Ensure all care delivery is in
accordance with established hospital standards and guidelines.
Advanced clinical skills in surgical nursing, particularly in
colorectal and urological procedures Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to manage complex patient cases and
make critical decisions under pressure Proficiency in using medical
software for patient management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice Certified Perioperative Nurse
(CNOR) certification is preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
