Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system known for its

patient care, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our
Neurosciences and Epilepsy Monitoring team. This part-time night
position (20 hrs/week) is ideal for a passionate Registered Nurse
specialized in neurosciences and patient monitoring. The role
involves direct patient care and the operation of state-of-the-art
monitoring equipment. The successful candidate will be part of a
dynamic team dedicated to advancing medical knowledge in the field
of neurology and improving patient outcomes in our Epilepsy
Monitoring Unit (EMU). Provide comprehensive patient care in a
neuroscience setting, focusing on epilepsy monitoring. Monitor
patients' neurological status using advanced technology and
clinical protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical
teams to formulate and implement patient care plans. Educate
patients and families on neurological conditions and treatment
plans. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient
interventions and responses. Implement safety protocols to ensure
patient safety within the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Proficiency in
using neurological monitoring equipment and technology Strong
clinical skills with a focus on neurosciences and epilepsy care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work
independently and manage time effectively Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision

in the state of employment Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse
(CNRN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced
