Job Description:
Join the committed team at Albany Medical Center, a leader in
healthcare innovation, as a Clinical Nurse II in our Critical Care
Float Pool. This position offers a unique challenge and exposure to
various critical care environments, supporting diverse patient
populations while upholding the highest standards of care. As a
member of our Night Shift team for 36 hours a week, you'll play a
crucial role in ensuring continuous, comprehensive care during the
most critical times. Our facility, which integrates a top-tier
hospital with a leading medical college, is renowned for its
commitment to medical education, biomedical research, and quality
patient care, providing an ideal environment for professional
growth and practice excellence in the nursing field. Provide direct
and comprehensive nursing care to a diverse range of critically ill
patients across multiple units. Quickly adapt to varying clinical
settings based on the operational needs of the hospital.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to;optimize patient
outcomes while ensuring continuity of care when transitioning
between units. Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care
and interventions in accordance with hospital policy and legal
requirements. Participate in ongoing education and professional
development opportunities to remain abreast with the latest
advancements in critical care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Patient assessment and critical decision-making skills Proficiency
in the use of medical technologies and patient care devices Strong
ability to adapt to changing environments and patient needs
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred: Certification in
Critical Care Nursing (CCRN)
