Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leader in healthcare innovation and
education, is seeking a Clinical Nurse III for our D5E ward. This
role is critical for those who are passionate about advancing their
nursing skills while providing top-tier care in an academic medical
center environment. The selected candidate will work closely with a
team of expert clinicians in a dynamic and supportive environment
focused on cutting-edge medical treatments and research. Provide
high-quality, comprehensive nursing care in D5E department.
Administer medications, maintain patient records, and monitor for
any side effects or complications. Collaborate with physicians, and
other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Participate in research and implement best practices based on
evidence. Educate patients and their families on disease processes,
treatments, and health maintenance. Assist in the training and
mentoring of less experienced nursing staff. Advanced patient
assessment and care planning skills Strong ability to operate
medical equipment Knowledge of electronic health record systems
Excellent written and verbal communication Capacity for handling
high-stress, critical situations with a calm demeanor Medical
Insurance Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
