Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution renowned

college, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II for our E4
General Medicine unit. This position offers a promising opportunity
to advance in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on
innovative patient care and top-tier medical education. The ideal
candidate will contribute to both team-based and individual patient
care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice guided
by research and educational growth. Provide comprehensive patient
care in the General Medicine unit, assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in partnership with
healthcare team members. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed and monitor for efficacy and side effects. Participate
in the development and modification of patient care plans in
collaboration with multidisciplinary team members. Educate patients
and their families on disease processes, treatment, and prevention
techniques, ensuring high levels of patient engagement and
satisfaction. Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records of
patient's condition and treatment. Participate in professional
development through ongoing education, training and
achieving/maintaining certifications. Proficiency in using
electronic health record systems Excellent patient assessment
skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Basic Life
