Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our General Surgery Trauma team. You will collaborate with a team of experts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing significantly to both patient outcomes and educational advancements. Provide high-quality nursing care for surgical trauma patients. Assess patient conditions through monitoring and tracking vital signs and administering medications. Collaborate with surgical teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health management. Assist in surgical procedures and emergency interventions as needed. Maintain patient records and administer nursing care in accordance with healthcare regulations. Strong clinical skills in a surgical trauma setting Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records (EHR) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Capable of critical thinking and swift decision-making Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
