In this pivotal role, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will utilize your nursing skills to observe and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care. Monitor and assess the health status of patients within the ED Observation Unit, responding quickly to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments accurately as per physician orders and established protocols. Maintain continuous communication with healthcare team members, including briefing doctors on patient status during rounds. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and procedures. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, educating them about conditions and treatment options. Expertise in clinical nursing practices High proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
