Albany Medical Center invites applications for the role of
Clinical Nurse II on our specialized C2 Colorectal Surgery Urology
team. This role involves providing top-tier nursing care within a

colorectal and urology surgery patients. Assess patient conditions,
administer medications, and monitor recovery. Collaborate with
surgeons, specialists, and healthcare professionals to formulate
patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on surgical
processes, aftercare, and health management. Participate in
research initiatives and apply findings to clinical practice.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital safety
standards. Proficiency in patient assessment and medication
administration Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care planning Skillful
in handling emergency and critical care situations Medical

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of New York.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
