Albany Medical Center, a leader in healthcare excellence, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse III for our Medical/Surgical Hospitalist team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on providing top-tier patient care in a dynamic teaching environment. Provide comprehensive patient care in a hospitalist setting for medical and surgical patients. Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as needed under physician guidance. Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient treatment plans. Educate patients and their families about disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and ongoing care needs. Document patient care services accurately and compliantly in patient and department records. Ensure adherence to hospital policies as well as health and safety guidelines. Advanced practice nursing skills in a hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Proficient in using medical software and can handle medical technologies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) recommended
