Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system that

education and research, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse III
for our Orthopedics and Spine unit. This role requires a
knowledgeable and compassionate nurse who can provide advanced
nursing care to patients with orthopedic and spinal conditions,
ensuring the highest standards of safety and patient-centric care.
The position demands excellent technical skills, a deep
understanding of orthopedic nursing, and a passion for aiding
recovery and maintaining health standards. Provide comprehensive
nursing care for orthopedic and spine patients, ensuring adherence
to established guidelines and standards. Monitor patient health
status and respond to patient needs urgently and efficiently.
Assist in surgeries and other medical procedures related to
orthopedic and spine care. Educate patients and families on
treatment plans, post-operative care, and lifestyle adjustments.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
and outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and administer
medications correctly and safely. Advanced knowledge of orthopedic
and spine nursing practices Strong clinical skills with the ability
to perform under pressure Effective communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency with medical software and electronic health

Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of
practice Orthopedic Nursing Certification preferred
