Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare) - Unit/Setting:
Med/Surg Telemetry (Float Pool) - Employment Type: Travel RN /
Contract - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - End Date: 05/19/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - Hours: 36 hours/week - Shift: 12-hour nights |
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM - Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,130 – $2,250 -
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements -
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute-care Registered Nurse
experience (Med/Surg and/or Telemetry preferred) - EMR: Epic EMR
experience required - License: Active RN license (state
requirements apply) - Skills: Telemetry monitoring, strong
prioritization, and comfort floating to meet patient care needs -
Competency: Completion of required competency testing within 24
hours of submission (instructions provided after submission)
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities - Provide safe, evidence-based
nursing care for adult Med/Surg and telemetry patients across
assigned units (float) - Interpret and respond to telemetry
rhythms; escalate changes in patient condition promptly -
Administer medications, perform head-to-toe assessments, and
document accurately in Epic - Collaborate with interdisciplinary
healthcare teams to coordinate care plans, discharges, and
patient/family education - Maintain compliance with unit protocols,
patient safety standards, and professional nursing practice
