Requirements / Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in New York State - At least 1 year of experience in a 600
bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score OR 2
years of acute care Med/Surg/Telemetry experience (no testing
required) - Proven telemetry nursing skills and cardiac monitoring
experience - Epic EMR experience required (documentation and order
entry) - Ability to float to other units as needed (float pool
experience preferred) - Competency test required within 24 hours of
submission unless 2 years of experience - Reliable professional
appearance — navy blue scrubs required Responsibilities - Deliver
safe, effective, and compassionate Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care
to adult patients - Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to
patient changes according to hospital protocols - Float between
Med/Surg, Telemetry, and other acute care units to support staffing
and patient needs - Document all patient care accurately and
efficiently in Epic EMR - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
(physicians, respiratory therapists, case management) to ensure
optimal patient outcomes - Complete required competency testing and
participate in ongoing professional development - Adhere to
