pay) Qualifications and Job Requirements - Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license in New York State (or eligibility) — NY RN license
required for placement - Experience in Operating Room (OR) nursing
- Clinical experience with cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic,
and vascular surgeries - Experience in pediatric OR/PACU, thoracic
surgery, surgical pathology, or sub-acute settings is a plus -
Current BLS certification required - Strong communication, critical
thinking, and organizational skills - Willingness to participate in
on-call rotations as required Key Responsibilities (Perioperative /
Surgical Nurse) - Provide safe, effective, and compassionate
perioperative care to surgical patients across pre-, intra-, and
post-operative phases - Assist in complex surgical cases and
support surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary
healthcare teams - Monitor patient status, recognize changes in
condition, and respond promptly to emergencies - Maintain accurate
clinical documentation and follow hospital policies and
perioperative protocols - Prepare and manage surgical instruments,
sterile fields, and OR equipment according to standards -
Participate in on-call rotations and support unit staffing needs as
