Job Description Physician - Plastic SurgeryLocation: Cooperstown, NYVisa Sponsorship Available (J-1 & H-1B)Overview:A progressive academic health system in Central New York is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Plastic Surgeon to join its team. This opportunity is based in a scenic lakeside community with four-season recreation and a vibrant cultural scene.Responsibilities: Strong referral base from 100 primary care providers Broad range of procedures: reconstructive, flaps, wound care, hand, cosmetic, microsurgery, peripheral nerve, etc. Support from APCs, with resident and medical student interaction Limited call at primary hospital only Teaching opportunities and some outreach site travel Diverse patient mix; EPIC EMRCompensation & Perks: Salary range: $432,807 $645,439 (based on experience and qualifications) Sign-on bonus up to $100,000 Group-employed model Transition supportQualifications: MD, DO, or MBBS Board Certified/Board Eligible NY State License, BLS, and DEA requiredBenefits: Medical, dental, vision insurance PTO (vacation & holidays) Life and disability coverage Malpractice insurance Retirement plan CME time and allowance
