Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse III
for our D2N Cardiopulmonary Surgery & Vascular ICU. This role is
pivotal in providing top-notch patient care in a challenging and
fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid
background in cardiopulmonary and vascular care, demonstrating
exceptional clinical skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly
changing situations. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients
in the Cardiopulmonary Surgery & Vascular ICU. Monitor patient
status and respond with appropriate interventions. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care
plans. Educate patients and families on management of their
conditions. Partake in research and continuous education related to
cardiopulmonary and vascular health. Maintain accurate patient
records and uphold the healthcare center's standards. Advanced
knowledge of cardiopulmonary and vascular patient care. Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a
high-pressure environment. Proficiency in using medical software
and patient care technologies. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. BLS/ACLS Certification. CCRN certification
preferred.
