Albany Medical Center, a leader in healthcare services, is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse III for our D2N Cardiopulmonary Surgery & Vascular ICU. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will handle complex patient situations, contribute to healthcare innovation, and improve patient lives by delivering advanced nursing practices in cardiopulmonary and vascular care. Provide advanced nursing care for patients undergoing cardiopulmonary surgery and treatment in the vascular ICU. Monitor patient responses to treatments, and adjust care plans as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and vascular health management. Participate in research activities and contribute to clinical trials as required. Advanced knowledge of cardiopulmonary surgical procedures and vascular care. Proficient in using medical software for patient management. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
