Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours,/n distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. /n Unit Specifics/nNumber of Beds : 29 beds/nUnit staffing description- RN (1:4-6 pts) with HUC and PCT support/nType of equipment: IV pumps, Syringe pumps, patient safety equipment (including chair and bed alarms), Ceiling lifts, Sit to stand), Wow, Dynamaps/nDocumentation system: Soarian/nScheduling requirements: Three- Four 12 hour shifts with weekend commitment. /nFloating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holes/nPatient Experience requirements: previous cardiology experience preferred./n/nHospital Specifics-/nCertifications: Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult); Children’s Hospital within a hospital/n/nRequested Skill Set:/nMust have: Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations./nOrders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions./nAssesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered./nApplies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions./nProvides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses./nAdministers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered./nCollaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients./nDirects and guides ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing./n /nAdvanced skills needed: Rhythm interpretation, familiarity with vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medications (Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone) preferred.
