Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system recognized

seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our
Orthopedics and Spine unit. This role is pivotal in providing
exceptional patient care within a dynamic team environment,
emphasizing both patient outcomes and educational advancements. The
ideal candidate will be proficient in managing orthopedic
conditions, supporting both surgical recovery and non-operative
treatments, and committed to upholding the highest standards of
nursing practices as they relate to orthopedic and spine care.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care for orthopedic and spine
patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications
and treatments and monitor outcomes. Educate patients and families
on treatment plans, disease management, and preventive care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
Participate in research and performance improvement initiatives.
Expertise in orthopedic nursing practices Strong clinical skills in
post-operative care and pain management Ability to work
collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using
healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice Certification in Orthopedic
Nursing (ONC) preferred
