Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated Board Certified/Eligible Pediatrician to help us develop and grow the pediatric practice of a FP physician who is hoping to retire summer 2026. Leadership, customer service, and compassionate vision are sought in candidates for this position. Pediatrician will assist in continuing the highest level of pediatric care, help us to establish a new Pediatric office practice, support the newborn nursery and maternity program, and share coverage of our low volume inpatient general pediatrics service for our Critical Access Hospital. Current PALS, NRP, and BLS certification required. This is a beautiful rural community in a reasonable drive from cultural activities in Syracuse, Rochester, Albany and Utica. Our community has excellent schools, wonderful small towns, and an appreciative pleasant patient population We are offering: - $340,000 base salary for full time outpatient practice and inpatient call - $25,000 Start bonus paid in first paycheck - RVU bonus for productivity over 50% MGMA, paid quarterly, we reward productivity - Pediatric call coverage- average 10 days/month with 3 providers to cover 24/7/365 -Level 1 newborn nursery- <180 deliveries/year -Inpatient Pediatric volume- <50 admissions - Robust benefits including occurrence malpractice policy, CME allowance, 6 weeks paid time off, premium health and dental insurance, disability policy, either 401 retirement plan or NY State pension retirement based on provider preference - Physician shortage area, so we have been successful assisting providers with HHS, DANY, PSLF, NHSC loan repayment programs
