Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Saratoga Springs, NY Employer: Curative Pay: $475 to $500 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Saratoga Springs, New York, 12866! Hematology/Oncology locums coverage opportunity in New York for an adult mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with a straightforward clinic schedule and lighter, first-call rotation. Highlights Longer-term locums assignment available to provide continuity while a physician is on medical leave Clinic-based weekday schedule with a defined call rotation; first call and rarely called in Step in to an established patient panel (approximately 40% Hem / 60% Onc) Supportive team model: work alongside 3 MDs and 3 APPs; no APP supervision required Practice Setting Mix of inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology Adult patient population Infusion services on site (about 12 infusion chairs) Inpatient support: PA manages inpatients and escalates to physician as needed Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday clinic coverage Typical daytime hours (8a-5p) Preference for one consistent provider rather than splitting coverage across multiple clinicians Weeknight and weekend call in a 1:5 rotation (first call; rarely called in) Cases and Procedures General Hematology/Oncology patient care; taking over an existing panel Average volume: 1-2 new patients per day (max 6/week) Average daily volume: 15-20 patients (combined inpatient/outpatient) No procedures required Requirements MD/DO Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology New York medical license in hand Reach out for more details!
