Description:Reporting to the Retail Marketing Manager, the Retail Merchandising Coordinator is charged with the development and maintenance of the company's merchandising programs. He/She will work with the Retail Marketing Manager, Sales Teams and vendors to create planograms, develop racking and fixtures, point of purchase displays, and all related elements to establish a strong in-store presence and ensure the profitable growth of the brand through Retail, Dealer, and Distribution outlets across North America. This position requires managing multiple projects and programs for various sales channels, with a focus on "Big Box" retail partners. Typical projects focus on product merchandising, racking and fixtures, macro/micro space allocation, visual communications, and related marketing collateral.Retail Merchandising Coordinator Primary responsibilitiesDevelop, create, and implement Merchandising programs that help customers understand our products, are attractive and appealing, and reflect the brand image; with the end purpose of increasing sales.Communicate with vendor partners using processes and standards, to provide well-thought-through project vision, scope, and direction.Collaborate with Purchasing Team to source and maintain relationships with multiple vendors for POP and fixtures projects and acquire multi quotes to ensure competitive pricing.Interface with cross-functional partners (e.g.: Marketing, Sales, and vendors) to ensure speed and interconnected communication.Create and maintain an inventory database for all available merchandising programs. Ensure that programs are kept up to date.Create Planograms as needed by account managers and maintain the Planogram software database.Create presentations, paper and video instructions on how to properly setup and execute fixture and POP installations.Attend market walks and trade shows to leverage customer insights, industry trends, and retail best practices and drive creative and innovative solutions to business opportunities.Attend line reviews, kick-off meetings, and other related meetings as needed to understand the product-specific needs of the business.Research and explore best practices in retail marketing and visual merchandising and discern which competitive ideas are most effective.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relatedfield is preferred.Experience with a national multi-unit retailer or strong agency experience supporting a national multi-unit retailer with an emphasis on visual merchandising & communications, marketing, planograms, and space planning is preferred.Willing and able to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada (approximately 10% of the time).Retail Merchandising Coordinator Qualifications and competenciesAbility to identify potential Visual Merchandising opportunities and provide creative solutions.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailTeam player, able to collaborate objectively on projects, with good communication skills.Proactive, and solution and action-oriented, with a can-do attitude.Have an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for the challenges that come along with continuing the expansion of a brand across Canada and the U.S.Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with POG (Planogram) software is an assetCOMPANY BENEFITS Generous PTO 10 Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Guaranteed Biannual Bonuses 401k with Company Match Company Paid Life Insurance Annual Raises Room for AdvancementCOMPANY DESCRIPTIONSchluter Systems is a family-owned and internationally renowned company that has been rapidly growing over the last 10 years.
