Healthcare contract management company seeking experienced Traveling Culinary Support Supervisor for multiple long term care nursing facilities in Upstate NY area. The Traveling Culinary Support Supervisor will work under the direction of the Regional Manager and the needs to the specific facility assigned. Traveling Culinary Support Supervisor candidates must have previous cooking experience. Long term care cooking experience preferred. This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong NY, NJ, PA, GA, and FLA based company as they continue to grow in the healthcare industry.
Traveling Culinary Support Supervisor will be part of a collaborative Culinary Management Team. Responsible for stepping into facilities within assigned region which need support with supervision, preparing resident meals and/or other tasks as assigned based on the department needs. Prior to deployment to any facility, a complete briefing by the Regional Food Service Director or designee on the status of the facility and support needs will be reviewed.

- Effective communication with Regional and/or Food Service Director for needs of the operation during support assignment.

- - - - - - - - - Supervision and/or support with food preparation and service of all meals
- - - - - - - - - Ensure that the food preparation, cooking, and service areas kept clean, organized, and sanitized during your shift.
- - - - - - - - - Ensure all local, state, and federal food handling regulations maintained and adhered to.
- - - - - - - - - Follow all CCS and Facility Daily Covid 19 protocols.
Traveling Culinary Support Supervisor

- - - - - - - - - High School Diploma/GED required
- - - - - - - - - Ability to read, understand and follow recipes, productions sheet counts, diet orders, tray tickets and all employee work responsibilities and job flows.
- - - - - - - - - Valid Driver License
- - - - - - - - - Ability to travel up to 75% of the time from your home base account including overnight stays at hotels when needed.
- - - - - - - - - Able to work as part of a TEAM in a busy high pave kitchen atmosphere.
- - - - - - - - - Understanding after training on computer software system for resident meal tickets
- - - - - - - - - Must be able to complete a closing department check list.
- - - - - - - - - Must be ServSafe Certified
- - - - - - - - - 2-year cooking experience. Long term care cooking experience a plus!
