Albany Med is currently looking for a Human Resources Business
Partner with strong employee relations and generalist
experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The HR Business
Partner will provide a full range of services including but not
limited to providing management guidance with employee relations,
recruitment, performance management, workplace investigations,
policy interpretation, ADA administration, corrective action,
compensation and labor relations. Serves as a strategic consultant
and proactive partner to department management at Albany Med,
acting as an employee champion and change agent, while anticipating
HR-related needs that directly support the organization's mission,
vision and strategic values.To be successful, this person must
build partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added
service, while reflecting the business objectives of the
organization. Must also maintain an understanding of the business
unit's contribution to the organization, plans, its culture and its
competition. In this role, real-world HR expertise meets business
vision and strategy.Education:
- BA/BS with 5 to 7 years of experience in Human
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication, organizational and computer skills.
- Strong implementation and follow up skills.
- Healthcare experience desirable.
- PHR/SPHR preferred.
- Proven Labor Relations and negotiation experience.
