As an -Automation Field Service Technician -at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our building automation systems. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service to our clients, contributing to the seamless operation of smart buildings, and championing Honeywell's commitment to excellence.You will report directly to our -Sr. Field Service Supervisor, and you will provide support for customers in Western New York (Syracuse/Rochester, NY -area).Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on building automation equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions
• Provide on-site support to clients, addressing technical inquires, and offering guidance on system usage
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities including installation records, maintenance reports, troubleshooting procedures, etc.
• Ensure proper use of safety and personal protection equipment
• Acquire security and other clearances as required by customerThe salary range for this position is $56,300 - $81,500. - The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. -***Up to $5000 Sign-On Bonus***
  
  Relocation support may be providedYOU MUST HAVE
  • 2+ years of experience within the construction or field service industry
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Experience identifying and properly using trade tools appropriately
  • Ability to work independently
  • Some knowledge of basic HVAC systems, sensors, or automation principals
  • Ability to travel throughout the service area
  • Valid Driver's License -and driving record acceptable to HoneywellWE VALUE
    • Technical degree or certification in relevant field (Electronics, HVAC, Electricity, etc.)
    • Experience in controls, mechanical, fire and security industry.
    • Experience dealing with customer satisfaction
