FedEx Ground is hiring part-time and full-time individuals to load
and unload packages in our fast-paced warehouse environment.
Part-time employees typically work a 2-4-hour shift per day.
Full-time employees work approximately two shifts per day of
varying lengths. Package Handlers are responsible for warehouse
duties including: the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of
packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting,
pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing packages, as well as
physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and
efficient manner. Shifts may vary depending on warehouse package
volume and business needs.
Package Handlers will receive a competitive hourly rate and are
eligible for an attractive benefits package including medical,
dental, vision, vacation, holiday pay, parental leave and tuition
assistance after completion of an eligibility period. Flexible
schedules are offered at many of our locations and will be
discussed during the hiring process.

Information: $24.00 /hour
Up to $24.00 per hour to start*
Includes pay enhancements of $4 per hour for all Package Handlers
from 5/9/21 to 7/3/21, an additional $1 per hour for full-time
Package Handlers from 4/11/21 to 7/3/21, and an additional weekend
(Friday 10:00PM - Monday 10:00AM) pay enhancement of $3 per hour
from 4/2/21 to 7/5/21.
This location is offering the Get-To-Work Program via Tech Valley
Shuttle. Free transportation services to and from work will be
provided for the 11:00PM-3:00AM and 3:30AM-8:30AM shifts only. This
service will consist of 2 pick-up/drop-off locations in uptown and
downtown Albany. Details regarding this service and specific pickup
locations will be discussed during the hiring process.
This location is participating in a Cash Referral Program from
8/16/20 to 7/3/21! Current Package Handlers have the opportunity to
receive a $350 bonus payment for referring an individual to work as
a Package Handler at this location. The bonus will be paid to
referring employees once their referral has completed 45 days of
employment for each referred package handler. Certain conditions
apply. Details will be discussed during the hiring process.
This location is hiring for part-time positions ONLY. Available
schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.
Shifts Available:
Tues-Sat or Thurs-Mon: 3:30AM - 8:30AM
Mon-Fri: 11:00PM - 3:00AM
Mon-Fri: 11:00PM - 6:00AM
Tues-Fri: 11:00PM - 4:00AM & Sat: 2:00PM - 7:00PM
Pay Scale ($1.00 overnight differential dependent on shift):
$15.00/$16.00 to start
$15.50/$16.50 at 1 year
$16.00/$17.00 at 2 years
$16.50/$17.50 at 3 years
$17.00/$18.00 at 4 years

Start- and end-times may fluctuate slightly, based upon package
volume.
