Job Description:
Job Summary:

The Fredonia Migrant Education Program provides educational and advocacy services for migrant program eligible students to assist them in meeting NYS state standards for graduation and prepare them to be ready for college/career post High School. This position is located at the SUNY Fredonia Campus and will work within Chautauqua and Erie Counties or counties of western NY. *Mileage for work purposes is reimbursed at the NYS rate

Job Duties:

Provide in person and virtual educational services to students from preschool through high school and OSY students.
Develop individualized educational sessions that assist students in meeting school and state standards.
Establish rapport with students and families through home contacts for full program engagement.
Coordinate with classroom teachers to identify and target student needs.
Collaborate with program staff to develop resources and curriculum for programming and activities
Participate in parent engagement and student enrichment activities.
Maintain service/activity records for every assigned students
Complete online service entries and input educational/advocacy services in program data bank.
Must access and use internet-based platforms for virtual meetings, instruction, and data entry.
Participate in local and state wide meetings, trainings and professional development activities.

Requirements:
Required Education/Qualifications:

Associates degree with 1 to 3 years or more of experience in education and/or case management
Bilingual Spanish Speaking
Internet and cell phone access
Preferred Education/Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience in data entry
Experience in virtual meetings/activities
