THE ROLE: Inside Solution Architect (100% REMOTE)
Presidio is seeking an Inside Solution Architect to join our Inside Pre-Sales Support Team. This is a 100% REMOTE position in any US location!
Presidio has an opportunity for a motivated, smart, energetic individual for the Inside Pre-Sales Support team, working on a team of 3-6 technical Inside Solution Engineers & Architects in a Pre-Sales role. This role will be to provide technical Pre-Sales support services to Presidio's Pre-Sales organization.
The Inside Solution Architect is a member of Presidio's National Inside Pre-Sales Support Team supporting the Pre-Sales Engineering organization across Presidio primarily tasked with working closely with local teams of Solution Architects and providing technical assistance to customers, and Presidio Inside Sales organizations.
In addition to interfacing with Customers, Account Managers, and Solutions Architects, the Inside Solutions Architect will also be required to work with representatives from our Distribution partners, Cisco, Dell EMC, Pure, Palo Alto, and other manufacturers, as well as multiple teams within Presidio such as Inside Sales, Sales, Project Management, and Service Delivery as required.
The ISA is expected to continually develop their technical and industry knowledge and stay up to date on the latest products and trends focused on industry technologies by attending webinars/seminars, training classes, and by closely working with the Solution Architects team on a daily basis. A successful ISA will demonstrate an ability to not only rapidly gain knowledge and understanding of new areas of technology and products but will be eager to understand the business of Presidio and our customers.
The Ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated with good work ethics and strong knowledge of technology. Must be committed to customer satisfaction and possess strong oral, written and presentation skills and must be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.

  Key Responsibilities:
  
  • 
    
  • Create technically accurate and correct Bill of Materials (configurations) for supported technology and products
    
  • Create Pre-Sales Statement of Work documents and Service Pricing Documents to support Presidio service offerings
    
  • Provide Pre-Sales design services to Presidio's Velocity customers (medium sized commercial)
    
  • Create Solution diagrams, collect & analyze requirements data from customers, and perform other Pre-Sales activities in support of engineering initiatives
    
  • Research technical issues, answer customer questions about Presidio products, technologies, solutions, and offerings from our OEM partners.
    
  • Provide configuration support for products and offerings from our key strategic vendors
    
  • Create costing options & estimates for Presidio services and product-based solutions
    
  • Follow standard processes and manage workflow related to the creation of pre-sales deliverables
    
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide solutions for Presidio's customers
    
  • Work in a focused and directed manner to improve overall productivity & efficiency across Presidio's Pre-Sales team
    
  • Participate in meetings with customers and sales teams to collect technical requirements from Presidio customers and develop an appropriate technical solution
    
  • Serve as a Mentor to junior team members
    
  • Perform customer service functions, including interacting with customers and answering questions
    
  • Work alone and with others to create of technical configurations, statement of works, proposals, and other Pre-Sales work outputs.
    
    The Inside Solution Architect is a mid to senior-level position within the team. This role will focus on execution, continued enablement & training, and being a mentor to more junior team members. People in these roles should be able to perform basic tasks and activities without having their worked reviewed or checked and have an assumption of quality and accuracy. A successful Inside SA will have more than an entry level technical skill level and the ability to deliver any requested service which the Inside Pre-Sales Solution Team is tasked with providing, including service creation and basic design requests. The ISA role provides a potential career path to a customer-facing Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect role based on the candidate's ability to learn, grow, and their willingness to achieve goals and expand their skills.
    Minimium Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field of study or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
      
    • 2+ years of relevant experience
      
    • Experience in an IT-related field such as manufacturer, VAR, OR IT Solution Provider.
      
    • Experience with Infrastructure configurations, Statement of Works, AND/OR contracts in an IT Services industry.
      
    • Strong written skills, critical attention to detail, and a self-motivated work ethic are essential.
      
    • Technical Experience preferred with any of the following:
      
      • 
        
      • Cisco Systems, Dell EMC, Palo Alto, Pure Storage, Microsoft, VMware, Public Cloud Providers
        
        
        
        Preferred Experience:
        
        • 
          
        • Manufacturer or Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Cisco Certified Design, Dell Associate, or Pure Associate Architect are desirable.
          
        • Participation or graduation from an industry or manufacturer training program for IT/Pre-Sales engineers
