Senior UX DesignerTop Skills' DetailsThis is a senior role- looking for minimum of 5 years of professional UX experience. Please review my super specific top skills :1. Must have a clean/corporate looking portfolio that shows design skills and creative thinking on complex web based applications and shows the problem and solution.- portfolio must have a mix of things. It must show their UX research work (lots of content/writing in this section) as well as prototypes, wireframes, etc., along with the end result.- They want people who have worked on COMPLEX applications- not just a website redesign. FINRA's applications have lots of integration points and things to consider while designing.2. Must have some UX Research experience. Beyond design skills they must have experience in process (meeting with teams and gathering design requirements for what they will build) and creating wireframes based on those requirements- Someone who can ask the right questions and push back for clarification as needed. Not just take an order from someone on the business without understanding the implications.- Experience collaborating and leading Design Thinking sessions would be great.3. Must have experience with some type of prototyping tool that is not photoshop- to build components. Prototypes with some built-in logic (Sketch, Creative Cloud, Axure, Balsamiq, Invision, etc.)- FINRA used Adobe XD predominately- Accessibility experience (WCAG or 508 compliance)4. Be a storyteller. We want someone who can get someone else excited about their work, explain the problem, process, and end result that shows their passion in this area.+enterprise UX design experience - designing for enterprise+design thinking experience+experience working with large development teams+design systems experience+accessibility experienceJob DescriptionFINRA is seeking a Senior UX Designer to assist with the design, development, and documentation of interactive applications commensurate with their experience under the guidance of senior UX design staff in support of our product design efforts.In this role, the new UX designer will collaborate with product managers, users, business analysts and developers in crafting an optimal user experience for an internal application. Ability to create robust wireframes and hi-fidelity mockups is a must, as are the communication skills required to present design decisions to users and teams. The capacity to properly document design decisions and provide dev-ready assets is also needed. In addition, we expect our new teammate to be passionate about the practice of user experience, and display an eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
