Job Description



The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is looking for a new team member to join the Information Technology (IT) team. The newest team member will contribute to a fast-paced, technically diverse and dynamic global environment supporting the IT infrastructure, systems, and customers, at NNL's Kesselring (KS) site. Youhave the opportunity to support projects across a broad spectrum of IT and provide a high-level of customer support to users at KS. You will be able to learn and implement NNL procedures, policies, and processes. Additionally, the team member will support project work and specific tasks in support of the KS Site asset management, telecommunications, and network infrastructure. Required Skills



Intermediate:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years of relevant experience; or
  • Associate degree in related a field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or
  • Bachelor degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
    Senior:

    • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience; or
    • Associate degree in related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five years of relevant experience; or
    • Bachelor degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

      • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

      • Strong written and oral communication skills
      • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and nontechnical audiences
      • Familiarity and/or experience with TEMPEST/COMSEC

        The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A.
