It is 25 hours per week and includes benefits.Experience in state relations work preferred.The salary range for this position is: $20-22/hourNote that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications.About the JobThe Executive Coordinator will provide complex administrative support to the State Relations Director. The Executive Coordinator will administer projects, programs, and/or processes applicable to the unit. Analyze unit operating practices and recommends revisions to improve established procedures. May serve as an administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues. The Executive Coordinator will provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.What you will be doingSpecific duties: Coordinate State Relations networking activities; track legislation and regulations, pulling related reports; oversee data and list management.Responsibilities:1: Prepare and maintain memos, records, reports, data or correspondence for staff signature. Review correspondence for consistency with corporate policies and practices. May assist in the development of presentations.2: Perform general administrative duties such as maintaining and collecting data, coordinating the provision of organizational services (i.e. purchasing, supplies, catering, copying/printing), coordinating unit mail and communication flow, assisting in expenditure tracking and budget preparation.3: Screen telephone and office callers and resolve routine inquiries. Answer routine requests and direct others to supervisor, appropriate staff member or another office.4: Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings, events, program initiatives and travel itineraries.5: May relieve other administrative staff in the unit during temporary absences.

What we need from youEducation: High School or equivalent is required.Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.Skills & Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in personal computer use and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficient typing skills required.
