VETERINARY CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

The Client Service Representative is someone who will work directly with our clients, enjoys working in a face-paced environment, is organized, reliable, patient, compassionate, and maintains professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently, in a professional, friendly manner at all times.
* Able to use a multi-line system and handle multiple incoming calls.
* Greet clients in a warm and friendly manner
* Schedule appointments and ensuring that appointments are accurately scheduled.
* Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
* Checking in and out clients and patients.
* Receiving payments for services provided.
* Taking phone messages adequately ensuring all information is correct and transferred to the appropriate person.
* Intake of prescription requests ensuring all information is accurate.
* Any other veterinary customer service representative responsibilities assigned by the doctor(s), practice manager, and/or the lead customer service representative.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required
* Team-Oriented
* Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment

* Latham Animal Hospital has been serving the Capital Area for over 30 years. We currently have 3 doctors that cater to our clients canine and feline family members. Latham Animal Hospital is an accredited AAHA hospital which keeps up to date with all the new veterinary medical standards in treating our canine and feline patients. At Latham Animal Hospital, we understand the need to ensure that our canine and feline patients are comfortable during their visit by providing Fear Free measures at each visit.

There are so many activities during every season from winter skiing to spring Albany Tulip Festival, summer horse racing and summer through fall camping, hiking, farmer's markets just to name a few. There are many outdoor and indoor activities for the whole family to enjoy. You'll never run out of things to do!
