Nationally ranked and locally preferred, we remain dedicated to delivering world-class care, right here at home.Growing to meet community demand, we are adding a *CT Technologist* to our teamat *Albany Memorial Campus*!*If you are an experienced radiologic technologist / xray technologist looking for growth, we will train you!**Employment Type:** Full time* Day Shift* Schedule - Weekend Track, Days, 7a-7:30p*Why Us?** *#1 hospital in Albany*, #13 of more than 200 hospitals in New York State, (U.S. News and World Report).* One of America's '*Greatest Workplaces for Diversity*' and '*Greatest Workplaces for Women*', (Newsweek).* Rewarding orientation program, generous tuition allowance, and career development - where career opportunities and quality of life converge!*What you will do:** Obtain and record a complete clinical history pertinent to examination requested.* Evaluate requests for appropriateness, refer concerns to coordinator and/or radiologist.* Instruct patients as to the nature of the exam being performed and effectively communicate information regarding post procedures.* Ensure proper radiation protection measures are taken to provide an ALARA environment for patients, co-workers and self.* Understanding the ALARA program and actively participating in dosimetry program.* Effectively completing all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures and RIS requirements.* Assist in the instruction of new personnel.*What you will need:** Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology* Ability to demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and other equipment necessary to provide safe, accurate, and complete exams.* Current ARRT registration, NYS license required and* Certification to Inject* Experience on Siemen's equipment preferred*Pay range:** Weekend Track Days Rate: $48.00 per hour* Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
