Electrical TechnicianHoffman Development is a local family-owned company that operates the Hoffman Car Wash, Hoffman Jiffy Lube, Byrider and innovateIT brands. Founded in 1965, Hoffman Development has been a leading provider of automotive service and repairs in the Capital Region.Hoffman Development Corporation is seeking a full-time Electrical Technician to add to our expanding Project Team.Responsibilities:* Repair and install lighting and controls.* Able to work with voltage up to 480 volts.* Experience with PLC's and Variable Frequency Drives.* Install single and three phase motors.* Monitor equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation.* Able to operate a scissor lift.Applicants should possess:* Minimum - high school graduate or GED equivalent; Vocational/ trade school or associates degree is preferred.* 2 -3 years electrical experience.* Welding, mechanical, plumbing skills are a plus.* Motor control experience.* Relay experience.* Strong background in troubleshooting 24vdc, 24vac, 120vac, control systems.* Experience with low voltage sensor's i.e. Photo eyes, Proximity Sensor's.* Experience with a Multi-meter.* Experience installing Non- Metallic conduit, and Enclosures.* Ability to work independently and in a team.* Possess a valid driver's license.* Must able to lift at least 75 lbs.* Able to bend, kneel, crawl, walk, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders without assistance.* Able to work in all weather conditions.Employees enjoy:* Competitive pay ($24-28 per hour).* Health, dental, and disability insurance after 60 days.* Paid Time off.* Work vehicle and tools provided.* Overtime is available.* Retirement plan with company match.Hoffman Development Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
