Job DescriptionJob Description: The Inventory Specialist -
Fulfillment position provides support to the Compliance and Legal
Team, by working under the supervision of the Sr. Inventory
Specialist on tasks related to wholesale fulfillment, receiving,
inventory counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records in the
BioTrack system. This position requires a team member with
inventory management, receiving, or product fulfillment
experience.Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all state inventory control
regulations.
- Under the supervision and guidance of the Sr. Inventory
Specialist, will execute and oversee processes for picking,
packing, and document preparation for wholesale orders.
- Monitor ordering platform to ensure wholesale customers' orders
are prepared and ready to be delivered on time.
- Work closely with Quality team to ensure inspection of orders
are completed timely.
- Assist and provide support to the Security Transport Team in
final preparation of wholesale orders for transportation and
delivery.
- Complete assigned data entry and reporting using Excel and seed
to sale system.
- Receive all inbound shipment including sorting, organizing, and
processing inbound product orders.
- Conduct product counts and audits as directed and communicate
inventory issues to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members from other
departments.
- Support the overall mission and duties of the inventory
management team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sr. Inventory
Specialist or Director of Compliance and Inventory Management.Job
QualificationsRequired
- 1 year minimum employment experience in a role with
responsibility for inventory tasks and functions.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and
policies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products,
particularly with Excel.
- Must have the ability to assess data, facts and figures with a
high degree of focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and correct errors.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work activity, set and meet
goals, and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical requirements of the job include: The ability to move
safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Ability to
lift/move up to 30lbs if necessary. The ability to wear personal
protective gear correctly.
- High School Diploma.
- Must be 21 years or older.Preferred
- Experience in an inventory role in the cannabis industry, or a
fulfillment role in a manufacturing and/or distribution center
environment.
- Experience with cannabis dispensary operations and/or cannabis
wholesale operations.
- Familiarity with industry systems, such as BioTrack, Leaf
Logix, MJ Freeway, METRC, Leafly, Dutchie, etc.Vireo welcomes
