profitable. Job Summary: The Head Estimator/ Sr. Project Manager is
responsible for oversight of the estimating process for all
projects. They will perform extensive market analysis, review past
performances, and analyze the historical cost for projects. This
individual will lead and mentor a team of estimators/ project
managers while reinforcing our company mission statement and
corporate values. Other duties include developing and implementing
processes and procedures for estimating and project management
functions. The Head Estimator/ Sr. Project Manager will estimate
and manage large DOT projects in their entirety and develop and
manage budgets across multiple projects while focusing on
efficiency.Essential Functions: Ownership and Caring. Lead and
mentor a team of estimators/ project managers to drive results and
to reinforce our company mission statement and corporate
values.Conduct Extensive market analysis to spot trends and
opportunities for success.Review plans and specifications to
accurately define the scope of a project and construct a
competitive market bid. Identify areas of risk on a project and the
magnitude.Review the contract documents and provide all
correspondence and submittals necessary to the EICPerform quantity
take-offs Mastery. Assign estimating responsibilities for each
project and review all estimates for accuracy. Committed to serve.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate field operations and administrative
work across multiple projects at once while continuously seeking to
improve efficiency.Results Matter. Prepare and track budgets across
multiple projects, actively perform cost analysis, oversee all
project financials at a job cost level, and review all bills to
ensure the correct quantities. Requirements, Education, and
Experience:B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management,
preferred.5+ Years of experience in Asphalt Paving/ Heavy Highway
construction estimating and project managementA record of
successfully estimating and managing projects between $5M and
$15MProficient in NYSDOT and VAOT Standard SpecificationsProficient
in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ProjectProficient verbal and written

Demands:This is mostly sedentary outside of traveling to
construction sites. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. The job will
require frequent traveling in the field and various construction
sites. This would require the ability to sit at a desk, frequent
