Job Description:
Involved in the planning , design, and implementation of
state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database
solutions . Conducts risk assessment and provide recommendations
for application design. Deeply involved in a wide range of security
topics including application development and delivery , network ing
and data protection . Analyses are performed at all levels of total
system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test,
installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Uses encryption,
access management, event analysis, vulnerability and other tools,
techniques and processes to uncover and remediate system weaknesses
. Deeply involved in the design and development of new systems,
applications, and solutions for external customer enterprise-wide
cyber systems and networks. Provides analysis, evaluation, and
recommendations designed to promote economy, efficiency, and
effectiveness in the customer's security program. Ensures the
logical and systematic conversion of customer or product
requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge
technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Integrates new
architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber
security architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis
and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds
advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction,
provides engineering recommendations, and resolves
integration/testing issues. Develop documentation to support
requirements and current state of systems as well as plans for
required adjustments . May interface with external entities
including law enforcement, and intelligence/government
agencies.
Performance Objectives:
Technical Work
Perform holistic system assessment and risk analysis
Investigate approaches and techniques to improve security and
efficiency
Serve as subject matter expert for industry best practices
Respond to questionnaires regarding current state of controls and
risk
Work across multiple teams to identify and implement required
controls
Document and socialize standards and requirements
Help assess and design operational requirements
Help coordinate incident response and disaster recovery
scenarios
Research and respond to emergning threats
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years general technology experience
3+ years related security experience
Familiarity with on-prem and cloud best practices
Fluent in information security concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
Desire for growth and development of security skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to multi-task, respond and think quickly
Must be flexible enough to work overtime when needed

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in
determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited
to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and
competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location,
education and certifications as well as contract provisions
regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The
pay range for this position is :
$110,037.00 - $187,064.00
