Diesel Technician Logistics One is seeking a qualified diesel technician with a minimum of 3-5yrs experience. Pay range of $24-$34.50hr, Lots of opportunity for OT in the shop or on road service calls. This role is a new addition to our existing team to further meet the needs and growth of our customers. Logistics One has a top-notch fleet maintenance facility servicing our fleet of 40 Freightliner and Volvo power units and 150+ trailers. The Logistics One fleet shop is as clean as they come, climate controlled, drive through truck wash, onsite fuel, multiple parts rooms, large technician locker room, dedicated lunch/break room, and office space. Requirements · Primary responsibilities are various levels or repairs and preventive maintenance for our power unit fleet. Based on volume of work, dry van trailer repair and maintenance will also be required · PM services on power units including but not limited to, tire changes, fluid changes, brake services, etc. · Electrical diagnostics and repairs · Engine and service light diagnostics and repairs · Air Brake System diagnostics and repairs · ELD and Vehicle GPS system installations and removal · Vehicle prep for new drivers: (Every new driver we hire is assigned their own tractor, we want to make sure every tractor is gone through and presented best as possible both mechanically and cleanliness) · DEF system repairs and maintenance. · Utilization of fleet shop computer system for recording and tracking all repair orders · NY State Inspections Experience: Min 3-5yrs verifiable experience as a diesel technician working on similar equipment. Previous Freightliner or Volvo mfg. training/experience preferred but not required. Must have own tools for all basic repairs, specialty tools supplied by company. NY State Inspections License and or ability to obtain this certification.
