Pyrotechnique by Grucci is an explosives manufacturing firm, specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of a range of munitions and training simulations. We partner with the United States Department of Defense so we can support our troops with our products.

We are hiring Production Assemblers. We are looking for hardworking and motivated individuals with a strong focus on meeting benchmarks. These positions are vital to the smooth flow of the production line and in helping meet customer shipping schedules.



Base schedule: 4 day work week

Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

General Requirements, include but not limited to:

• Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  
• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Must be able to receive clearance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATFE).
  
• Must possess valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  
• Be able to work and communicate well with others.
  
• Be able to work well under the pressure of ensuring that requirements and specifications are met.
  
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
  
• Be able to work alone or in a team setting.
  
  
  
  Job Duties, include but not limited to:
  
  
  
• Produce product daily to meet established benchmarks.
  
• Take part in the standard workflow as product progresses through the build process
  
• Assemble, glue and manufacture product as specified in Standard Operating Procedures.
  
• Use hand and specialty tools and equipment for sub assembly and/or pressing, loading and gluing of components, which includes but is not limited to taping machines, auto-weighing system and pressing system.
  
• Perform 100% inspection of components and follow procedures for reporting non-conformance to Production Supervisor.
  
• May perform weighing, blending and granulating pyrotechnic compositions.
  
• Complete necessary paperwork, which includes but is not limited to, Assembly Inspection Sheets, weekly Timesheets, and Flow Cards as specified by procedure.
  
• Ensure Department / Division / Job Codes are correctly recorded on all applicable paperwork.
  
• Assist with transport of product to Dry House or Magazine Storage Areas, as needed and if proper driving certification has been obtained
  
• Calculate measures of product using, but not limited to the use of, calipers and go/no-go gauges.
  
  
  
  Physical Requirements, include but not limited to:
  
  1. Must be able to lift, push, or pull 10 to 35 lbs. on a continuous basis.
  
  2. Must be able to sit, stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
