Job Description:

Electrical Engineer

Background check and drug test are required
12 plus month contract with conversion arrangement already in place.
100% remoteThisElectrical Engineer will be responsible for designing/integrating various electrical concepts &products for both existing and new products.

Your duties & responsibilities:

You will work interactively in cross functional teams to produce new products and improve existing products
Ensure designs meet product specifications and comply with industry and regulatory standards
You will design and document using customer design process and CAD systems
Make a work breakdown and planning as part of a project
Maintain high quality level by organizing reviews of own work, and participating in reviews from other designers
Produce presentation and documentation as needed for engineering and customer reviews of design work
Work with other functions to develop test requirement and build documentation to ensure quality and functionality of products
Support manufacturing in troubleshooting electrical issues during first article builds and integration as well as standard product as required
Identify key risks in designs or product and work with team on mitigation plans and or prototype tests to reduce/eliminate risk of electrical modules
Participate and support quality processes such as DFMEA, PFMEAs , 8D etc.
Engages team to proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts
Work with other functions to coordinate effort to support business needs
Maintains a professional manner to enhance the company's image with customers
Attends and participates in customer, departmental or company meetings
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures

The skills:

Detail oriented, logical thinker, with the ability to work independently on multiple competing priorities with moderate supervision in a professional engineering environment.
Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and practices
Mentor graphics, Capital Suite and Teamcenter knowledge are a plus.
Ability to interact with customers and outside vendors.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Good foresight and strong analytical thinking skills.
Quick learner with the ability to prioritize activities and deliver projects on time.
Be willing to work flexible hours

Education, Certifications, and Experience:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or higher preferred. Equivalent work experience, or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
Semiconductor equipment design experience highly preferred
