experienced Senior Geologist or Senior Environmental Scientist
who’s ready to take a leadership role on impactful environmental
projects. In addition to Clifton Park, candidates located near

career. Job Description: As a Senior Geologist or Senior
Environmental Scientist at HRP, you’ll lead multidisciplinary
projects, guide technical strategy, and serve as a trusted advisor
to clients. You’ll manage environmental investigations, oversee
field programs, and contribute to the development of innovative,
practical solutions. This role blends technical expertise, project
management, and team leadership — ideal for someone who thrives in
a dynamic consulting environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and
manage environmental and geological projects from planning through
completion Oversee field programs including drilling, sampling,
remediation, and site characterization Develop work plans, scopes,
budgets, and schedules Analyze and interpret environmental and
geologic data to support project decisions Prepare and review
technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submittals Serve as a
primary point of contact for clients, regulators, and project
partners Mentor and train junior scientists and geologists Support
business development through proposal writing, client outreach, and
strategic planning Ensure compliance with HRP’s health and safety
standards across all project activities Requirements: Bachelor’s
degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or a
related field (Master’s preferred) 5 years of relevant
environmental consulting or geological experience Strong technical
background in site investigation, remediation, hydrogeology, or
environmental compliance Proven project management experience,
including budgeting and client communication Excellent written and
verbal communication skills Ability to lead teams and mentor junior
staff Familiarity with state and federal environmental regulations
Willingness to travel for field assignments, with possible
overnights of up to a week at a time Valid driver’s license Ability
to physically lift up to 40 pounds Professional licensure (PG,
LSRP, PE, or similar) is a plus Geologist-in-Training (GIT)
